Kathryn Springer's "The Prince Charming List" touches the heart of the little girl living inside each woman who always wanted to be swept away on a white horse! Ms. Springer creates a wonderful story in the Pritchett series that can easily be read on its own about a woman who is working at her mother's small town beauty shop while Mom is on her honeymoon over the summer. Heather Lowell is like many of us in dreaming about her "Prince Charming", and she has created a list of the qualities she wants her dream man to have and keeps it in her Bible. Sounds like a good place to me.
What she finds in Pritchett is possibly an answer to her prayer for a true love. But to which of the two young men is the Lord leading her? Dex, the anti-social (not really handy) handyman who plans to leave the country in a few months for a mission trip? Or Jared, the adventurous artist who doesn't belong in this small town? The road to discovery is paved with humor and heart-clutching moments.
Although predictable, this is a warm and fuzzy read that will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face. It may also point you to what you should prioritize on your prince charming list.
What a nice change from typical romances!
The relationships and portrayals of people in a small Wisconsin town were very entertaining.
But I especially enjoyed the funny dialogue.
It was good to find an entertaining Christian romance.
Purchased this used book from the seller. Book condition was very good and according to my wife, "The book is a keeper." It arrived when expected.
This book had me laughing as soon as I started reading it. I couldn't put it down. Even though the main character was much younger than I am she was very easy to relate to for any age. Loved the ending!!

Now I have had my share of good books. This by far is my favorite, it was really enjoyable.
The main charater, Heather, was a strong young women with faith who cracked me up. I really enjoyed being in her head with her thoughts.
Its just something all women should read before they go into the dating scene. Like Barlow Girl say "God is writing my love story"
